An online booking portal that allows gay men to book a hotel room online has raised an estimated $1.4 million.
Gaya has been a gay bar and restaurant in New York since 1975.
The portal allows gay people to register and book a room online for the cheapest price.
Gaya has now raised $1,423,400 from a $500,000 seed round, according to a post on the Gaya website.
Gayas chief executive Peter Schaffner said the funding would enable the company to expand the hotel booking feature and hire more staff.
Gayabroad, a subsidiary of the global travel company, said it had secured another $1 million.
